Scope:

Alliant is GSA’s premier enterprise Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The scope of the Alliant GWAC includes any and all components of an integrated Information Technology (IT) solution, including all current and any new technologies which may emerge during the life cycle of the Contract and IT systems and services in support of National Security

Systems, as defined in FAR 39.002. The Contract provides IT solutions through performance of a broad range of services which may include the integration of various technologies critical to the services being acquired.

As the definition of IT changes over the life cycle of the Contract, the scope of the Contract will be considered to coincide with the current definition at any given time.

  • Pre-competed easy-to-use contract with streamlined ordering procedures based on “best value” or the FAR 16.505.
  • Compliant with current National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) regulations pertaining to multiple-award contract task orders.
  • Choice of 80 labor categories.
  • No dollar value limit on task orders up to a contract ceiling limit of $50B.
  • Aggressive subcontracting goals – 50% of subcontracted dollars.
  • Orders of $10M or less are not protestable (except for deviations from scope, period, or contract ceiling).
  • Alliant’s Contract Access Fee (CAF) of 0.75% is capped at $150,000 per task order per year.
  • Alignment with the FEA and DoDEA enable Alliant to evolve over time as technologies change without requiring a technical refresh. Alliant also conforms to Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policy mandates for reporting on IT investments. This feature enables long-term planning of large-scale programs and integrated solutions.

Contract Vehicle for Secure Telecommunication Services

Artel, LLC, has been awarded a prime contract with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to support defense-related national security telecommunications requirements for the Global Network Services (GNS) contract.  The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, which has a value of $4.3 billion dollars, calls for telecommunication network solutions and services supporting the Defense Information System Network (DISN) enterprise-level infrastructure in order to provide DISA’s diverse mission partners with secure communications capabilities.  Artel is one of only eight prime awardees for the GNS contract.
