Inmarsat Global Xpress Subscription Services
HERNDON, VA, July 2018 — Artel, LLC (Artel) announces the formal approval of a reseller agreement with Inmarsat Government, Inc., which establishes Artel as a service provider (SP) of Inmarsat’s Global Xpress subscription services in support of U.S. Government communication needs. The agreement integrates Artel’s bundled satellite equipment solutions with Inmarsat’s wideband global connectivity services, delivering reliable, always-on communication capability to U.S. Government and military customers.
Inmarsat’s Global Xpress is the first and only end-to-end, high-throughput commercial Ka-band network from a single operator that delivers worldwide service. “This agreement allows Artel to provide customers with 24x7 seamless and secure Global Xpress global communication services and support to address the growing mobility needs of our Government customers, including the land, maritime, and aeronautical market sectors,” said Artel CEO Paul Domorski.
As a Global Xpress subscription services SP, Artel is positioned to support the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), providing guaranteed data rates to support the Warfighters’ combat missions. Beyond the DoD, Artel plans to offer these services to enhance its support of specific Department of State programs, in addition to Defense Information Systems Agency Global Network Services and General Services Administration Complex Commercial SATCOM Solutions (CS3) contract vehicles.
