Herndon, VA, February 2021 – Artel, LLC (Artel) wins a $36.6M, 5-year Defense Information Systems Agency task order to procure and manage non-preemptible commercial Ku-band satellite bandwidth for the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Southwest Asia (SWA) Area of Responsibility (AOR) Communications Network Architecture and Contingency Support.  The task order has the ability to support surge for additional space segment capacity to meet emergent and contingency mission requirements by filling gaps in coverage and capacity in any location within the SWA AOR.
