Fort Meade, MD, October 2017 ― As a member of the Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC), Artel has been able to leverage its competitive edge and expertise in the security testing of Cross Domain Solutions to become the first and only JITC Test Team certified to perform certification and evaluation of cross domain guarding solutions.

The Artel Team is the first non-DoD Lab Team to be recognized by the Unified Cross Domain Solutions Management Office (UCDSMO) to perform the Lab Based Security Assessments (LBSA) on cross domain solutions for potential inclusion on the UCDSCMO Cross Domain Solutions Baseline Technology List.  This list is a validated products list of cross domain solutions and technologies available to the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community.  The National Security Agency (NSA) has granted JITC a provisional certification to perform the LBSA, primarily due to the 15 years of experience the Artel Team has in testing, securing and accrediting cross domain solutions, along with Artel’s knowledge and expertise of the technology, risk and threats associated with the DoD’s Enterprise Capabilities.
